Published work includes books, anthologies and essays on Autobiography, Irish poetry, the Irish Famine, Flann O’Brien/Brian Ó Nualláin, Tomás Ó Criomhthain and writers from the Great Blasket and south-west Kerry Gaeltacht, Irish-language novelists and poets Seán Ó Ríordáin, Máirtín Ó Cadhain, Pádraig Óg Ó Conaire, Pádraig Ó Beirn, prominent leaders of the language revival Douglas Hyde and David Comyn. Director of Comhdháil an Chraoibhín and Editor of Proceedings 1990–2002. Former President of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association (IABA), and Member of the European and World Executives (AIBA). Current International Technical Official AIBA, and Member of Referees & Judges Commission.
