Urnaí Maidne

Slogann dallóg na cistine a teanga de sceit
caochann an mhaidin liathshúil.
Seacht nóiméad déag chun a seacht
gan éan ar chraobh
ná coileach ag glaoch
broidearnach im shúil chlé
is blas bréan im bhéal.
Greamaíonn na fógraí raidió den bhfo-chomhfhios
mar a ghreamódh
buíocán bogbheirithe uibh
de chois treabhsair dhuibh
mar a ghreamódh cnuimh de chneá.
Ná héisteodh sibh
in ainm dílis Dé ÉISTÍG . . .
Tagann an citeal le blubfhriotal miotalach
trí bhuidéal bainne ón gcéim
dhá mhuga mhaolchluasacha chré.
Dúisigh a ghrá
tá sé ina lá. Seo, cupán tae
táim ag fáil bháis
conas tánn tú fhéin?
