Caitríona is an actor and writer. She has written extensively for children’s television and her children’s books have been published by Cló Iar-Chonnacht, O’Brien Press and Cló Mhuigh Eo. She has been an Oireachtas award-winner and her first book, Ó Lúibíní Lú, was nominated for a Glen Dimplex Award. Her first radio play, Momento Mori. was a PJ O'Connor award-winner and broadcast on RTÉ Radio Drama, and her second, An Chanáil, was shortlisted. She has adapted works for the stage and her first original work, Eating Seals and Seagull’s Eggs, played Edinburgh Fringe to critical acclaim. She has also been a storyline writer for Fair City. Caitríona is an award-winning actor — Irish Times Nominations for Best Production, Best Supporting Actor; Fringe First; Herald Angel; OBIE; Best New Play; Best Female Performer; — and she has worked nationally and internationally. Caitríona is also a regular performer on Radio Drama and has made numerous appearences on television — RTÉ, TG4, BBC, BBC NI.
