Moira Sweeney is a filmmaker, broadcaster and photographer living in County Wicklow. She directs documentaries and studio programmes for RTÉ, BBC, Channel 4 and TG4; Starboard Home (2019) and Women of the Pipes (2021) amongst them. She exhibited her artworks Stevedoring Stories (2012), Rhythms of a Port (2014) and Keepers of the Port (2017) at PhotoIreland, Tall Ships Dublin, Riverfest, TradFest and at academic conferences in Europe. Moira's walks on the Camino de Santiago inspired her photos for Liam Ó Muirthile’s Oilithreach Pinn (2017).
