• Garry Bannister – poet and lexicographer and Assistant Professor in the Dublin City University
• Jacqueline de Brún - writer for children and
• Majella Ní Dhomhnaill – novelist and short story writer
• Michelle O Riordan – historian, spiritual writer, and Assistant Professor at the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies
• Ógie Ó Céilleacháir – short story writer and writer for children
• Seán Tadhg Ó Gairbhí – journalist
• Seán Ua Súilleabháin – Former lecturer in Modern Irish, University College, Cork, and academic writer
